OVERVIEW
MINDS in MOTION is an innovative exhibition where creator Isaac Rayment captures the brainwaves of notable visionaries, artists, thought leaders, performers and creators and converts the data into a beautiful immersive video sculptural experience.
PROCESS
Through the use of the MUSE HEADBAND by InteraXon we will capture the 5 essential brainwave patterns [alpha, beta, gamma, delta, theta] as well as biometrics as the subject is creating, performing, contemplating and working. All of this data will be fed into our unique generative visual pipeline which uses the brainwave input to manipulate the parameters and create beautiful visuals based on their thought patterns and biometrics thus immortalizing the moment of inception.
PROCESSING
Color and Movement style will be assigned to each of the brainwaves to be identifiable in the final output and the viewer will be able to identify each of the parameters as they play out in the installation.
Each of these visual outputs will be creatively manipulated to represent each of the participants in the installation for a custom unique look that the audience can identify as the installation transitions between each highlighted personality.
INSTALLATION
The centerpiece of the installation will be "the COVE" ; a large curved LED Wall that envelopes the viewer. The vibrant generative visuals representing the different brainwaves will play out in an immersive display, complete with custom soundtrack designed to heighten the impact of the visuals.
VENUE / EVENT
The debut of Minds in Motion will be a centrepiece highlight at the Art Gallery of Ontario (Canadas largest art gallery).
It will be featured at their prestigious annual fundraising gala to an audience of enthusiastic and influential art lovers.

EVOLUTION
The installation will kick off in Toronto in the fall of 2024, but the plan is to expand and tour the show via various mediums including: Projection Mapping, Virtual Reality, Immersive Projection Experiences, Augmented Reality and Video Gallery experiences. We anticipate it will appear at a variety of galleries and art festivals and installations world wide in the near future!
